Hi lfs people!

I just applied for a booth at Fosdem like we did in 2016 and 2017. If you don't recall me, I'm the coordinator for the French translation.

I hope to be able to see as many of you as possible in Brussels on the 2nd and 3rd of February. For more information about the location, please visit https://fosdem.org/2019. It is still too early to say whether we will get the stand or know about the schedule, but I wanted to let you time to decide and arrange for coming. There is no fee, and the conference is always amazing!

If we get a booth, it will be a great opportunity to meet in person, talk with people and present our work. Last times, we had stickers and I plan to print a lot of them. We gave away around 2000 stickers two years ago! We had simple ones, but I plan to have some text on the back this year so people can easily find a link to the website.

Last time we also printed the English systemd version of the book and we sold 15 of them during the first morning. I'd like to ask for permission to print the book again this year and sell them so we can cover the expenses (so not making profit). I'd like to print the French version too.

I'm looking forward to meeting you in Brussels!

Since the license is Creative Commons
Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike, you can certainly duplicate the
books and sell them at cost.

Personally, I think the printed books are nice for show, but not very
practical from a functional point of view.
